On Friday and Monday we made galleries. On Tuesday we filmed and on Wednesday we edited. Thursday we did a few more galleries.
I really enjoyed my week there. I'd love to do it again. If I could change anything I would have done more outside work. We spent a lot of time sat inside doing nothing but galleries. I really enjoyed the work we did on the roof of Waitrose and would have preferred to do that everyday inside of a lot of galleries.
I felt a little nervous when I was told I was working with the Bath Chronicle and when the week began I was ok. by the end of it I was really happy that I was apart of it and took a lot of information away with me.
All the assignments throughout the week were very easy and nothing seemed to be do difficult. A few of the galleries to a while to put together but everything seemed fine.
One of the projects we were set was filming on top of the roof of Waitrose. We went to the shop and asked at the desk. They took us upstairs and we spoke to the photography who took the hawk photos. We then meet the hawk and went onto the roof. After 30 minutes of filming, we came downstairs to sit and talk again. We then recorded the interview with the hawk trainer. Then the next day we edited the footage and Alex put it on the website.
I never thought I could filming a hawk going over my head or film an interview. I learnt some very good life skills.
I acted very mature through the week. Never did anything weird or crazy.
I found it very interesting being part of the print industry. I learnt some really cool stuff and found out how they act towards each other and how the industry acts.
I think I will be a lot better in college at writing articles and editing.
The skills I think I am now better at our:
Team Work
Professionalism
Communication
Friendliness
Creativity
Problem solving
English skills
